It's Christmas Card Time
This year I thought I would try something new with our Christmas card exchange. My upline Tina Lovell does this every year and it seems to be successful.
You have a variety of cards to choose from. Each stack consists of 5 of the same cards and costs $6 for the stack. You can order as many "stacks" of cards as you wish. You can have the option of coming over to work on your stacks i.e. the stamping or you can ask for a "to-go" set of stacks that will have your sets already stamped. If I do the stamping for you the will cost will be $1 more resulting in the stacks being $7.
Send me an email with your order as soon as possible so I can get started on the cutting.

Reminder: Our next card gathering is Sunday November 17th at 1pm. We will be working on baby cards designed by Marilyn Gossett.

It's almost Easter time!
The "Sunday Card Sharks" selected the "Clementine" paper pack along with a request for more "Chantilly" cards. They chose the theme of "Easter". Here are the cards we will be making Sunday March 17th and Monday March 18th at 1PM. The Sunday group is full but there are slots available on Monday. E mail me if you are browsing this blog and want to join us pams334@gmail.com
February Card Project
Thanks to CTMH Consultant Wendy Bergeron Coffman, the "Sunday Card Sharks" made 4 adorable owl themed cards and a card holder with the "Chantilly Paper Pack". The group LOVED the project! Wendy's site: stampingrules.com offers projects for sale.

February Sunday Scrappers
Sunday Feb 24th at 1PM brings the "Sunday Scrappers" together. The group chose the CTMH paper pack, "For Always" with love as the theme.
Below are the 6 pages we will complete. I referred to the CTMH "Magic Scrapbook Program" on several of the pages. One of the pages offers an envelope to tuck mementos or extra photos into. The other offers an interactive wheel that can be turned. The options for photo placement or messages in the wheel are endless. As you can see I used a lot of embossing using my new "E Bosser" which is very convenient and produces a beautiful project.
There are vacancies in the scrapbook group. If you are interested in joining us, email me at pams334@gmail.com or leave me a message at 503-917-1672.

January Scrap Club Pages + an easy card
As I promised, this weekend I worked on scrapbook pages from the CTMH paper pack "Avonlea". I love the teal papers in this pack as they are rich and fun to work with.
The theme resulted in "family". One of the pages includes tabs on a tree to document a few family members. The coordinating green colored page allows you to display some of those photos.
This group meets Sunday January 27th at 1pm. If you are interested in creating these pages please contact me at pamsobsession@gmail.com or you can call me at 503-917-1672.

February's Card Project
CTMH has a special running with a $35 purchase you are eligible for a $10 kit called,
"Whooo's Your Valentine". The kit includes 12 Die Cut Boxes, cardstock, 1 sheet of silver glitter paper, 12 treat tubes and best of all, "Whooo's Your Valentine Stamp Set" which I might add is adorable. The set is Valentine Themed with a cute owl.
The below listed project was created by Wendy Coffman, a consultant from Tigard. She is very talented and her work is beautiful. The picture shows the project assembled with the "Pear and Partridge" paper pack. Since we will be putting this project after February 1, we will be using the new "Chantilly" paper pack. I can't wait to do a trial run of this project.
Here are the projects we will complete in February. You will purchase the paper pack and pink glitter gems. I will pre-cut this project as Wendy describes the folding as advanced and will take some time. We will make a card box with either a burlap flower or yo yo, a swing card, a fun fold card, a cascade card and a pop up card.

Happy New Year! 2013
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Years Eve/Day. I enjoy the holidays however; I am always relieved when they have passed.
I have the new CTMH Spring/Summer Catalogs! As usual the paper is gorgeous. They have coordinating fabric with 2 of the paper sets. Perfect for some yo-yos to go on cards and scrap pages. Something else that caught my eye is the new "Wheel of Life" stamp set and the spinners. (Think old game boards). If you would like a catalog before our gathering on the 13th let me know and I'll make sure you get one. You will be able to order from the new catalog February 1st.
In January we have both card and scrapbook groups using the Avonlea layout.
